Celine and Eric welcome you to the heart of the vineyards of Domaine du Vigneaud.
Located a few kilometers from the chateau of Monbazillac, 18 km from Bergerac, 80 km from Sarlat, 2 km from the Lot , 2 km from the Gironde and 80 km from Bordeaux, the Domaine du Vigneaud languidly extends its 20 hectares of vines in the sunny slopes Monestier.
Six generations of Lagarde have succeeded here since 1880, but the area was already inhabited in 1628.
If Eric took over the farm of his father in 2001, he was joined more recently by the lovely "nose" of the charming Celine, who has abandoned her native Béarn for her love and his vineyards. Eric is wine technician ; Celine has been working for 17 years in the magical world of traditional perfumery.

Eric has firmly decided to abandon chemical fertilizers in favor of organic manure, is gradually shifting to mechanical weeding and replanting 5,000 feet per acre instead of 2,500 as is often the case. Amateurs and experts will understand: the wine is sweeter and more concentrated! !

Half the estate produces white wines, the other red wines.
White wines include 3 varieties: Semillon (mellow), Muscadelle (dry or sweet), Sauvignon (dry).
Red wines are from the 3 following varieties: Merlot 70% Cabernet Franc 15% Sauvignon and 15%.
