Guest house Le moulin rouge
An old mill from the Middle Ages transformed into a guest house
Bed and breakfast le moulin rouge
Le Moulin Rouge old mill converted into a guest house, is located in Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, classified as a "Site Majeur de l'Aquitaine", the "Golden Triangle" of the Dordogne Valley (the canoe trip down is particularly recommended), at the foot of the Bastide de Domme, a few kilometers from the Roque-GageacMarqueyssac, Castelnaud, Beynac, the Milandes10 km from Sarlat.
Set in 2 hectares of wooded parkland, where a small tributary of the Dordogne, the Gouzon, flows, and overlooked by a pontoon overlooking a stretch of water where our guests share a magical moment during breakfast-brunch, the Moulin Rouge welcomes you in its three rooms, all independent, which open onto a terrace or the garden. The decor is simple and warm.
For your meals, Rosette and Micha have selected just a stone's throw from their home (at DOMME), Ferme Auberge La Borie Blanche where Christine and Alain Borde offer traditional cuisine based on local produce: Mique, duck confit, mushrooms, homemade desserts.
Our 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
Private bathroom and toilet, 160cm beds
The rooms can also be opened up to form a large suite.
From the lovely terrace overlooking the pond fed by the mill's fresh spring, you can enjoy the peace and quiet while admiring the tame carp and tasting Rosette's wonderful, hearty breakfasts.
Arrivals are from 5pm.
If you wish to arrive earlier, please let us know as soon as possible.
