PERITREK , a specialist of travels through the Quercy and the Perigord, based
in Beynac (10 km from Sarlat - 70 km from
Périgueux and Bergerac)
constantly increases the number and the quality of the itineraries offered. It aims at leading you to discover this beautiful region of France in an original way: the main activity (canoeing,
hiking, moutainbiking) is up to you; you may travel alone or with one of our guides.
We propose 4 different itineraries; they are all very accessible, whether you're fond of sports or not; only the mountainbike route requires some athletic capacities.
Ever since its creation, PERITREK has always been designing its itineraries according to the following principles:
- you must travel in the best possible conditions, with a good value for money;
- you must fully enjoy the activity chosen;
- you must take your time to discover the region.
We are very much in love with this -well-preserved but fragile- part of France, and we strive to create itineraries including a limited number of travellers in order to completely
respect the environmental equilibrium. Not forgetting the cultural aspect - it is very important - we try to imagine routes that will remain an unforgettable moment for you.

Discovery of the valley of the Vézère river and of its prehistoric sites.
You will follow the banks up the valley of the Dordogne, and you will discover its medieval fortresses and villages. Small canyons and deep valleys.
Fortified abandoned mills. Wild "causses" (limestone plateaus) full of light. Impressive cirques and chasms. Gorgious nature. Terroir. Heritage.
