Grange Dimière seems to have been built by the Knights Templars, more precisely by the Commandery of Saint Jean de Condat. The low ceiling room, with its transverse ribs and archaic intersecting ribs, is definitely of exceptional character.
Grange Dimière's museum presents a collection of litographs, drawings and posters created by SEM, between 1884 and 1934. SEM, a famous caricaturist during the Edwardian era, sketched more than a thousand celebrities, almost all of which have been identified since then: politicians, military leaders, crowned heads, and also painters, composers, writers, actors and Parisian notables, members of different circles of the time.
Open from July 15. to August 31. from 2:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
