 | Long ago, before the sixteenth century, Cadiot was a thriving village, with terraces overlooking the Dordogne. From all this, nothing remains except the terraces we resurrected in the gardens. We discovered the magic and mystery of this place in the 80's, and like generations of men and women who brought the topsoil, we continued with the same gestures to restore the site.
Some 30 years is the time it took to Anne-Marie and Bernard Decottignies to transform what was only rocks, sand and weeds. Thanks to her talent as a colorist, Anne-Marie has matched colors, so that Cadiot is never the same to the visitor ... Bernard, more rigorous, meanwhile organized structures and has created original sculptures.
