Laugerie Basse is listed among the 400 sites of the World Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO. It is embedded in one of the most grandiose cliffs overlooking the Vézère Valley. Occupied 14,000 years ago by the Magdalenians, it was first searched in 1863 by the most famous prehistorians. When you visit this extraordinary site, you will discover how and why the Cro-Magnon men lived here.
